Sunriver Engagement Photos

The moment I received Sidney + Jaydens wedding inquiry, I let out a little yelp of excitement. To work with a couple on their wedding day, especially one that you have worked with previously, has to be one of the greatest compliments! Sidney originally reached out back in the summer of 2020 to schedule a session for her then boyfriend and herself at one of their favorite places. The first time we all met it was at Detroit lake and we couldn’t have had more fun taking beautiful photos of their already two year in love story. Fast forward nearly two more years and all three of us are back together in Sunriver for their engagement photos!

Why Sunriver for Engagement Photos?

When Sidney described her vision for their engagement photos, she mentioned that she would like an outdoor setting and if possible to incorporate a rustic vibe. Sunriver was the first place that came to mind. This is an accessible location with areas of golden fields, old fencing, rustic looking structures and even a few horses around! Who wouldn’t love that?! Not to mention, if we are shooting in late summer or early fall, it’s not too hot and the sun is warm and absolutely glowing for a perfect romantic touch. Sidney absolutely loves horses, so it felt like fate that at the end of our session, a few horses were out in the field right next to us. They were so friendly and close enough to give some pets and join in for some of the engagement photos!

Scheduling your engagement session

Summer may have passed, but Sunriver and Central Oregon is one of those places that is absolutely beautiful year round.
