Graduation Pictures with your Best Friend

Due to COVID-19 hitting hard, this year is not holding the same traditions of celebration that our grads deserve. Thank goodness for best friends, sweet pups and fabulous Fiance’s to cheer you on every step of the way. This is the story Blanca shared with me as she inquired for her graduation shoot. Graduation wasn’t going to be held in the traditional sense. So, she wanted to commemorate everything she had accomplished with a celebratory shoot. I was so honored to be chosen to photograph Blanca’s college graduation celebration! Meeting her wonderful support system and adorable fur baby were an absolute delight! We met at the Western Oregon University Campus beautiful as always.

Due to no onsite learning, literally had the whole place to ourselves. We began at some of the most iconic pieces of the campus which included with University sign. Then we moved around campus to shoot at some locations near and dear to her journey. The buildings in which she burned the midnight oil studying, before the pandemic of course. The streets she use to walk down on her way to class. Also, a favorite tree where she would eat lunch and made many collegiate memories.

One of my favorite things about all of this were the people we included in her session! The fact that Blanca met both her best friend AND fiancè on this campus was so special. It made documenting these memories an absolute pleasure.
