Graduation Pictures at UO

Cap and Gown season is still one of my all time favorites. Watching clients so accomplished and proud in their graduation garb, brings such a fun energy to a photo session. Lilli’s mom actually reached out and organized her daughters graduation pictures at UO, and it was just like spending time with members of my own family. We found a time where Lilli’s mom would be in town to join us for this special session, and spent an evening walking the University of Oregon Campus chatting all about Lilli’s UO memories and plans for the future.

Incorporating meaningful touches into your Cap and Gown Session

If you are a proud “duck”, one of the best parts about scheduling your graduation pictures on the UO campus is the opportunity to pack your photos full of college memories. The sidewalks you walked down, and the buildings and doors your walked through, all play such an important part in your story and journey. For Lilli’s session we not only incorporated the academic buildings and different iconic campus locations, but also the clinic she so passionately worked in, even during the midst of the pandemic.

Another special part of Lilli’s graduation pictures at UO was incorporating a bit of her Hawaiian heritage. Her mother brought THE most beautiful traditional Haku flower crown with flowers to match the classic green and yellow school colors! Lilli’s mom also gifted her the most stunning and vibrant Lei which we used for photos outside of Autzen stadium! But to me, the most special meaningful touch that we incorporated into these photos was Lilli’s loving and supportive mama herself.

I absolutely loved the beautiful Haku and Lei that Lilli wore. It was so fun to learn more about companies like The Hawaiian Lei Company that ship these beautiful pieces directly to you for your celebrations!

Traveling to UO for Graduation Pictures
