Why do I love engagement pictures? There is a lot of joy in an engagement session – you and your partner get to be celebrated as well as celebrate your relationship! And when both the winter sun and the snow are in your favor, Oregon engagement photos truly can’t get more magical!

The Couple

Alexis and Eric met at Oregon State University in Corvallis. After graduation, Eric moved to Bend while Alexis stayed in Portland for work. After two long years of long-distance dating, Alexis landed a job here in Central Oregon! A year and a half later, these two got engaged and celebrated the occasion with me at Mt. Bachelor with some snowy Oregon engagement photos. These two kept it laid back and fun all afternoon!

Oregon Engagement Photos

For this session, we chose to head out into the snow because Bend, Oregon is an amazing outdoor winter playground. The snow here is always perfect to create a magical kind of vibe and I love getting to experience it with Alexis and Eric! They laughed and played and rolled around in the snow. We even included a super fun champagne pop using a champagne from Eric’s family winery in Hillsboro. Those unique touches that mean a lot to you and your partner make capturing these moments oh-so-special for me!

Being out at Mt. Bachelor on a sunny day with snow on the ground felt like I’d landed on a marshmallow planet! There wasn’t a single cloud in the sky and the sun glowed, lighting up this gorgeous couple perfectly. I swear there’s just something different about the Bend sunshine (in the best way)!
