The Epic Vinyl Record Senior Photoshoot that Positively Rocked the Yearbook

This graduating senior is a girl of many skills and talents. A dedicated athlete and an avid student, as we;; as a loyal friend, sister and daughter. But just by looking, there is one thing that you might not see. That special thing is her love for music and epic vintage record collection. While exploring ways to showcase a part of who she truly was, this vinyl record senior photoshoot became the vision. If you know a little about me, you know that I was over the moon to get creative in the studio! So we booked an hour session at The Gray Lab in Corvallis and got to planning this epic senior session!

When this gal showed up to the studio with her plethora of vinyl records, I knew we were in for something special! She walked me through some of her favorites and we strategically displayed them any way we could. With this fabulous blue velvet couch and dried palm leaves in studio, it made for the perfect funky look!

Getting creative with your Senior Photoshoot

If you have been or are currently a graduating Senior, then you are fully aware that the yearbook photo requirements are devastatingly dull. The school strictly expresses that: no senior picture will be accepted if it doesn’t fit within their standards. These standards typically include a photo cropped in tight. A photo that is straight on and with no objects, animals or other people in frame. BORING! But don’t let that deter you from creating and experiencing the senior session that you’ve always dreamed of. We’re not JUST booking this Senior session for the yearbook. This is for you and your loved ones. You have grown into this amazing young adult and there have been so many experiences that have shaped you.
